Wheel-thrown, raku fired vase with stunning copper and resin accents. Raku work is decorative and not intended to store foods or liquids.
This gorgeous vase is a bit different from my usual work and was definitely outside my comfort zone. I was literally playing with 🔥! Flames and flaws perfectly combine to reveal the strength and beauty in this timeless yet modern captivating piece.  I had no idea how this collection was going to turn out. Giving up control and surrendering to the process was a powerful learning experience. The copper forged by the flame really shines in this piece. It truly is one of a kind.
